The American Dietetic Association is changing its name to The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.  The new name will be a better reflection of the mission of the organization.  The web address will stay the same: .  Requirements for becoming and remaining a registered dietitian will stay the same for now - they will continue to be updated periodically as science and technology advance.
